Tools You’ll Need

  • ✏️ Pencil (for sketching)

  • 🧽 Eraser

  • 🖊️ Fineliner or black pen (for outlining)

  • 🖍️ Color pencils or markers (optional)

  • 🗒️ Drawing paper or sketchbook

  • 📱 (Optional) iPad/Tablet with Procreate or any drawing app

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Draw the Top Oval
  • Start with a horizontal oval - this is the rim of the tea cup.

Step 2: Add the Sides
  • From each end of the oval, draw two slightly slanted lines going down.

  • These lines will form the body of your cup. Think of it like a cone shape.

Step 3: Draw the Bottom Curve & Add Tea level
  • Now, close the cup by drawing a small curved line at the bottom between the two side lines - this forms the base of the cup and gives it a solid structure.

  • Next, draw another curved line inside the top oval to show the tea level.

  • This makes your cup look like it’s filled and adds more depth to the drawing.

Step 4: Add the Handle
  • On the side of the cup, draw a big letter “C” to form the handle.

  • Make it round and smooth. You can also draw a smaller inner “C” to show the handle thickness.
